I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Ellenby in Scarborough and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Paula, who offered us tea or coffee before showing us to our beautifully themed room with stunning views of the bay. the room was spotlessly clean and adorned with Paula's homemade shortbread, a lovely touch that added to the overall charm of the hotel. the hotel's honesty bar was also a nice touch, offering a wide selection of beverages at reasonable prices. The hosts, Paula and Tony, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. They provided valuable recommendations for local dining and activities, making us feel right at home in Scarborough. the location of the hotel overlooking the North Bay was simply stunning, and the binoculars provided in our sea view room allowed us to enjoy the recent dolphin sightings in the bay. In terms of amenities, Hotel Ellenby had everything we could ask for. the comfortable lounge with a TV, well-stocked honesty bar, and convenient car parking made our stay stress-free and enjoyable. the added bonus of garden furniture in the back garden allowed us to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the area. All in all, Hotel Ellenby offers a perfect balance of cost and luxury. the attention to detail, personalized service, and picturesque location truly make it a gem in Scarborough. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in this charming seaside town.
